The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Head, E-Banking Sales to provide strategic leadership and commercial oversight for its electronic and digital banking channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving product adoption, usage growth, revenue performance, and go-to-market execution across the bank’s digital platforms.
The Head, E-Banking Sales will lead the development and execution of digital sales strategies, oversee performance management across key e-banking metrics, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance product design and customer experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the commercial success of the institution’s digital banking agenda in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for electronic and digital banking products across retail and corporate segments.
- Drive adoption, migration, and sustained usage of online banking, mobile banking, POS, payments and collections, cards, PayGate, and corporate banking platforms.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators, including digital penetration, transaction volumes and values, platform acquisition and activity, and net e-banking income.
- Identify performance gaps or declining trends and implement corrective actions to improve commercial outcomes.
- Collaborate with product, operations, technology, and marketing teams to support product enhancements and improved customer experience.
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing digital sales teams, including the design and delivery of training programs for new and existing digital offerings.
- Oversee market research and customer-needs analysis to inform strategy and sales execution.
- Prepare and present performance reports, insights, and recommendations to executive management and relevant governance forums.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, or a related discipline, or an HND with a Master’s degree.
- Minimum of 8–12 years’ relevant experience in electronic banking, digital sales, fintech, or consumer-technology-driven financial services.
- Demonstrated career progression into senior or managerial leadership roles within digital or e-banking functions.
- Hands-on experience with a broad range of digital banking platforms and payment solutions.
- Proven track record of executing digital sales strategies and driving measurable commercial performance.
